SalvageSettlers
is the brainchild of one of India’s leading
loss adjusters having experience of more than
two and a half decades in non auto claims.
SalvageSettlers was launched in October 2007.
Since then there has been no looking back.
Within two years the organization saved more
than USD 1.7 million for the Indian general
insurance industry alone when compared to
recovery through traditional methods such as
word of mouth negotiations and inviting sealed
tenders. The organization completed their
first million dollar sale in 2009 which was
water damaged sugar lying in the state of
Uttar Pradesh.
Starting with a single office in the capital
New Delhi, the organization rapidly expanded
its base to other states of the country such
as Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Tamil
Nadu. As on date the SalvageSettlers family
comprise of fifteen members and a database of
more than 15000 buyers.
Getting an excellent response from the
insurance industry, the organization has now
started serving the non insurance industry as
well such as manufacturers and traders for
their regular scrap, inventory and capital
equipment disposal needs.
